FrontierMEDEX is one of the oldest providers of travel health insurance & medical emergency evacuation trip coverage in the USA. They offer several plans designed both for the individual traveler or for worldwide corporations. Some of their more popular coverages include their TravelMed Abroad and TravelMed Choice plans. They also offer a SafeTrip Medical Evacuation plan on either a per trip basis or a multi-trip Annual plan.
Recently they were purchased by UnitedHealth Group out of Minnesota, one of the Nation's largest health insurers. Medex was once known for it's outstanding customer service however, that may have changed since their purchase.
