Travel Insurance Executive Dies

Dennis Bennett, formerly President and CEO of Mercury International Sales and Services passed away last week on June 19, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Dennis and his firm, were leaders in the sale of travel insurance at airport locations through out the USA and were the leading provider of airport, bus, and railroad terminal lockers. Dennis was very proud of a donation that he made to the Smithsonian Museum of one of the last self-service travel insurance machines to have seen service at an airport.

He is survived by his wife, sons, Christopher, (Erica) and Kevin, (Tiffany) Bennett and daughter, Malia (Chris) Drogitis. Also surviving are his sister, Lynne (Dennis) Bennett Davidson, brother in law, Dennis eight grandchildren; Nichole, Samantha, Trevor and Taylor Bennett, Corrine and Leilani Bennett and Marianna and Ari Drogitis along with several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
