Happy Holidays

Our thoughts as 2020 draws to a close and will soon be behind us.

As 2020 draws to a close, we at QuoteWright.com would like to extend our warmest regards to all of you, wishing you a happy and safe holiday season. You don’t need us to tell you how this past year has been – it’s been a challenging year to say the least. Especially for travel.

With 2021 fast approaching, we’d like to remind you that we are here for you with your travel concerns. Here are somethings to think about for the coming year:

Buy travel insurance early

Think about travel insurance at the same time that you’re making your deposit on your trip. Several key provisions might be time sensitive and might not be available if you wait. Two of the key benefits that are quite often time sensitive are coverages for pre-existing medical conditions and default/bankruptcy of a travel supplier.

Travel Vouchers/credits

Rebooking with travel credits? Many travel providers provided credits or vouchers when trips/cruises were cancelled due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. If you have a travel voucher or credit based on a cancelled trip be aware that some travel insurance companies will use your original trip deposit date to determine time sensitive benefits such as pre-existing medical condition coverage and default/bankruptcy coverage.

May your holidays be happy and safe!

QuoteWright is here to help you through the maze of travel insurance.
